hoping, not expecting
sometimes, i forget that there's a distinction between hoping and expecting.recently, i almost crossed that line again. it took one of "my kids" to remember the difference.
thank god!
now, i can let myself hope, because this gives me something to look forward to.
at the same time, i can't let myself form any expectations, because this is the fastest route to pain and disappointment.
ugh... i have to stop over-analyzing things.
